🧾 Retractable Screen Doors – Limited Warranty
Limited Warranty
This Retractable Screen Door Warranty is extended to the original Purchaser whose name appears on the invoice. Warranty is void once the original Purchaser transfers title of his or her home to another party.
1. Warranty
www.RetractableScreenDoors.com warrants, to the first Purchaser only, that our Retractable Screen Doors will be free from defective materials and workmanship for life following installation, when properly maintained and under normal use and service.
⚠️ Note: This limited lifetime warranty does not include the screen mesh.
This warranty also does not cover installation costs, removal costs, service call costs, or shipping costs of any materials covered under this warranty.
2. Purchaser’s Duties
The Purchaser must provide written notice to www.RetractableScreenDoors.com of any alleged failure within the warranty period — no later than 15 days after discovering the issue.
3. Disclaimer & Exclusion of Warranties
There are no express or implied warranties (including merchantability or fitness for use) other than what is stated in this document.
4. Exclusions
This warranty does not apply to:
Damage caused by pets, children, or anyone walking into the screen mesh
Color changes over time
Drill or screwdriver damage to fasteners
Faulty construction or design of the building
Unauthorized repairs or alterations
Misuse, abuse, vandalism, accidents, or Acts of God
Exposure to corrosive environments (e.g., saltwater)
Normal material aging (sun, rain, heat, cold, abrasion)
Unfinished or improperly protected wood materials
Natural characteristics of screen mesh (slight curling, fraying, puckering)
Water damage due to threshold modification
Any freight, shipping, or labor costs related to replacements
5. Limitation of Liability

The screen mesh is not covered under this warranty. This includes any rips, tears, fraying, or detachment from the roller or pull bar.
Retractable Screen Doors are designed for ventilation and bug control only — not as security screens or pet/kid barriers.
6. Limitation of Actions
No legal action for breach of warranty may be brought more than one year after the issue is discovered.
7. Professional Installation Required
All Retractable Screen Doors from www.RetractableScreenDoors.com must be professionally installed by a certified dealer. Any alteration by the end user voids the warranty.
8. Merger
This written warranty represents the complete and final agreement regarding product quality and performance.
9. No Oral Modification or Waiver
No verbal changes to this warranty are valid. Any modifications must be in writing and approved by both parties.
10. Governing Law
This warranty is governed by the laws of the State of California.
